1. The guarantee
14 days, no argument. If you are not happy with Scroll Studio for any reason, ask us within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full. You do not have to justify the request, though we always appreciate hearing what went wrong.
This policy takes effect August 9, 2026 and applies to licences bought through this website.
2. How to ask
Either route works:
- Email support@innovatewebdevelopment.com from the address you bought with, or quote your order number. This is the quickest way.
- Use the link in your Paddle receipt email, which lets you contact Paddle’s buyer support directly.
Before you ask, it is worth a quick email describing the problem — a good number of refund requests turn out to be something we can fix in one reply. But if you would rather just have your money back, say so and that is what will happen.
3. What happens after
Paddle is our merchant of record, so Paddle issues the refund to your original payment method. Processing typically takes three to ten business days depending on your bank or card issuer. Paddle emails you a confirmation.
When a refund is issued:
- your subscription is cancelled, so there is no future charge;
- your licence key is deactivated — updates and support stop.
Because Scroll Studio’s code is MIT-licensed, deactivating a key does not reach into your sites and switch anything off. We ask that you remove the paid plugin from your sites after a refund, or switch to the free version on WordPress.org if you want to keep the two free effects.
4. Renewals
Licences renew automatically each year, and Paddle emails you before each renewal charge. The same 14-day window applies to a renewal: if a renewal charges you and you did not want it, tell us within 14 days and we will refund that renewal and cancel the subscription.
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your Paddle receipt link, or by emailing us. Cancelling stops future charges; your licence continues to work until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not pro-rate a partial year outside the 14-day window.
5. The free version
There is a free version of Scroll Studio on WordPress.org with the Studio editor, the engine and two of the effects. It costs nothing and needs no licence, so you can try the way the plugin works before buying anything at all.
6. Upgrades and changing tier
If you buy a single-site licence and then need the unlimited tier, email us — we will apply what you already paid to the upgrade rather than charging you twice.
7. When we may decline
We honour this guarantee generously. The rare exceptions:
- requests made more than 14 days after the charge;
- repeated buy-and-refund cycles on the same product by the same person;
- refund requests where the licence key has been shared or resold, contrary to the Terms of Service.
None of this affects statutory rights you may have as a consumer where you live — those apply regardless of what this page says.
8. Chargebacks
Please email us before raising a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback costs us a fee on top of the refunded amount and takes weeks to resolve, whereas an email to support@innovatewebdevelopment.com gets the same result faster. Licences subject to a chargeback are deactivated.
