Scroll Studio installs like any other WordPress plugin. Which route you take depends on which edition you have.
The free version
Search for Scroll Studio under Plugins → Add New in your WordPress dashboard, install it, and click Activate. You get the Studio editor, the full animation engine, two effects (Fade + Slide-in and Media Parallax), the labelling controls in every page builder, code export, and the Minimal template.
Pro
- Get the
.zip: use the download link in your licence email, or paste your key into your licence page any time. Leave it zipped. - In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and choose that file.
- Click Install Now, then Activate.
Pro gives you all eight effects, every template, automatic updates, and every new effect and template added later at no extra cost.
Already running the free version? Switch it off first, then switch Pro on. Pro takes the place of the free version rather than sitting alongside it, and WordPress will show an error if both are active at once. Your settings and licence key carry over.
What to do first
Open Scroll Studio → Settings. The plugin looks for the page builders already on your site and ticks them for you, so in most cases there is nothing to change. A builder is used only when it is both ticked here and installed.
From there, open the Studio, pick a template, and copy the result onto a page. The quick start in the documentation walks through it in six steps.
